According to the traditional monthly ranking compiled by the American consulting company FlightStats, the most punctual airline in Europe is Spain’s Air Nostrum. The airline, chartered by Iberia for flights within Spain, operated 6,721 flights in October and followed its scheduled timetable in 91.85% of cases.
Dutch airline KLM Cityhopper ranked second among regional airlines, with an on-time performance rate of 91.12%. To compile this ranking, FlightStats collects data from around the world on airlines whose aircraft arrive at their destinations no more than 15 minutes later than scheduled.
